We are also a “trauma informed” practice and our staff have been trained to deliver using this approach and all front line staff at LVA are Mental Health First Aiders.
LVA Trust became a registered charity on October 6th 2016 (Charity number: 1169505.)
Statement of Faith
Our founders, leadership and trustees all have a personal relationship with God.
LVA Trust does not promote any faith and is fully inclusive in our teaching and delivery of services. We are open to all regardless of gender, sexuality, sexual orientation, race or beliefs.
“It is a fact that young people are developing their personality and sexual identity online.
Our job is to equip them with the tools to develop in healthy ways. Our focus should be on empowering young people to set boundaries in all their relationships; online and offline.”
- GARETH CHEESMAN, ACET UK (LVA WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ACET)

Staff
Our team consists of a diverse group who are dedicated, talented and passionate working together to create openness and opportunities for our young people.
Kayleigh Butler,
Co-Founder, CEO
As a co-founder of LVA Trust, Kayleigh is passionate about engaging young people in all things RSHE (relationship, sex, and health education) both in and out of the classroom. Her duties as CEO include overseeing the development of our RSHE work in schools, growing LVA projects and engagement in the community as well as looking after the front line team to ensure best practice on all fronts. Lydia Anderson,
Schools Lead & DSL
Lydia has worked with young people for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience in her safeguarding role. She is passionate about creating opportunities to have frank and open conversations and equipping them with the confidence and tools to embrace whatever life brings their way. Our RSHE workshops, small groups and mentoring provide those opportunities to have these conversations.
Lydia enjoys juggling being a wife, and mother, teaching at LVA and her role as a youth worker at Every Nation Church.
Kendall Ramsey, RSHE Educator
As one of our educators, Kendall will be part of our team delivering RSHE workshops, small groups and 1-1 mentoring. She is passionate about getting alongside young people on their journeys, during important periods of life when extra support is most valuable and often crucial. She has consistently sought out roles within creative settings, that have enabled her to be part of resourcing people to build their emotional resilience while focusing on wellbeing and healthy relationships.
With a degree in Psychosocial Studies and a wealth of related experience working in frontline positions, she enjoys working directly with people so she can see them achieving even in the face of adversity.
Gemma Holmes, Apprentice Operations Assistant

Every day, Gemma feels inspired by the opportunity to collaborate with such a dedicated team and looks forward to making her creative mark at LVA alongside her administrative duties.
Angela Ramsey,
Mentoring Lead & RSHE Educator
Angie serves as an RSHE Educator and Mentoring Lead for LVA. She has a background in working with young people in various settings, including organizations such as Scripture Union and Youth for Christ. Additionally, she founded and currently manages a community group music provision known as Groove Academy.
When the opportunity to join LVA presented itself, Angie perceived it as a valuable chance to engage with young people in a new capacity within a more structured environment focused on Relationships, Sex, and Health Education (RSHE). It has proven to be profoundly meaningful and rewarding, and she would not wish to change her current professional engagement.
